I know, a little corny, but hey, it’s playing in here and I it’s my “theme song”, lol.
To tell the truth, I love the “going’ and I like the packing and unpacking, but I’ve gotten to where I don’t appreciate all the labor any more, but still haven’t made it to where I can pay someone else to do it, lol.
For me the packing lets me “cull the herd” and the unpacking, usually a couple of months in between, is fun. Setting up a new place, rediscovering all the little things you don’t use very day but are YOURS and you miss being able to just go over “there” and pick it up and use it 😛
Any-who at the rate I’m going, by the first of July rolls around I should only have a few heavy things that I’ll have to impose on my dear friend’s sons or maybe my nephew and I will be able to get it all ourselves. Granted, I’m not as young as I once was, but I’m pretty fit still, we’ll see. I’m packing and then taking boxes over to the storage so the only things left will be a couple of larger boxes and furniture.
The closer the end of July gets, the more excited I get. My son is getting married and the plan is for my Daughter and I to got up for the Wedding. There will be a new baby by the end of the year, Insha Allah (God willing) and the creek don’t rise) Who knew grand children could be so fun and rewarding. It’s strange how much I enjoy them, go figure right?
Alrighty then, back to the Salt Mines, as Momma use to say, lol. I’m enjoying this packing stuff….
One of my future goals is to get rid of paper files. I’ve been paperless for a couple of years now for billing, but every once in a while you stumble across a bill that is paper and they don’t do electronic billing or offer an account you can set up bill pay to. When I pay off my car next month, that will be the last paper account I have 😀
